I disagree with Ric in the shit he's saying about Hart. I don't believe that you can rate a wrestlers talent on how much he draws. I have the "To be the man" book myself, but I haven't really had time to read it yet. I will though when I find the time. It doesn't surprise me that he said the things he said, but it does rub me the wrong way that he did. I will not go further in on the matter at this time, as I have to go to bed and I gotta get up early in the morning.

As far as Shawn goes this is just him telling his version of the "real life feud". It pissed me off that he just sits there and tries to make him self look like a fucking saint, when it's widely known that he's everything but! Bret even admitted that he could have handled the situation better and that he and Shawn both caused the situation to escalate. I fucking hate it when people can't even take responsibility for their own fucking actions! His selfishness annoys the crap outta me...

I'm not even getting into the warrior at this point. That guy is a fucking piece of whiny shit. (He'll probably sue me for saying this, but what the hell)
Fuck him!

Sunny's bit only confirms the things that is widely know about Bret and then she talks about her relationship with Shawn.

Cott, you make a good point about Flair. At least he's not changing his story, for an example of that see any two Shawn Michaels interviews. And yeah, there are times it's pretty obvious that he's lying just through his body motions and his eyes. He does paint himself out a pretty picture though, he probably actually believes everything he says. Either way, when compared to Bret Hart, he doesn't have a leg do stand on. Match list, wrestling ability, drawing, mic skills, he's got nothing over him. And yeah, Warrior's been mentally inept for years now.

Michaels' superb mic skills are a myth, as has been noted before. And drawing's no comparison. Michaels never drew much of anything significant. At least Hart had Wembley under his belt.

Noted? Just because Dave and Johnny might think HBK's mic skills ain't all that doesn't mean he's not a helluva lot better than Hart. Neither Hart nor HBK ever drew that much on their own as they had their biggest pushes at a time when the WWF was getting its ass kicked. Wembley doesn't count. Davey Boy Smith was a bigger drawing point in that event and WWE could easily fill another venue that size in England if they were willing to make it a proper full-on PPV.

It's all well and good to claim that Hart's miles better than HBK, but at least make these claims where it applies, because in-ring technique is the only thing Hart clearly has over him.

I don't think he has as much charisma as everyone seems to say, but HBK is a better talker. He's not very good, but he's better than Hart at least. However, in Bret's defense, he had some very good promos during his anti-American Hart Foundation days.

Because home town hero Davey Boy Smith, Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage, and Ric Flair weren't on the card?

Bret and Michaels both drew dick all.

Bret's promos during 1997 destroy any promos HBK has done in his entire career.

Both are liars, and that shouldn't really make a difference on whether somebody decides to like them or not, because everybody in wrestling is a sleazy liar who will say anything to put themself over.

Anyway, Michaels oozed charisma back in his prime. Bret had a certain aura about him despite having no mic skills but HBK was always a more natural entertainer in everything besides the actual wrestling itself IMO. That being said, maybe Bret had a better character. Chris Benoit, for example, has no mic skills to talk of, but as far as characters in wrestling go, he's one of the best ever from my point of view.

The one where Paul Heyman told him about being entered as number one in the '04 Rumble was a good example of that. In fact, the entire lead-up to Wrestlemania 20 is chock full of good examples, and I think that they ultimately helped him get that Wrestlemania Moment, you know?

Yeah just give each of those vids a quick run through, and you'll be believing that Shawn's a horrible liar before you know it. Stutters his words, can barely talk straight most of the time, can't remember any specific dates AT ALL, and of course changes his story throughout the interview, several times. Funny thing is, the interviewer even busts him lying a couple times.
