Are we talking anyone in the world? Because Andrei Arlovski or Tim Silva would have a shout in that. If we're talking wrestling, Big Show, that big indian guy, or Kurt Angle.

In terms of wrestling, I think Lashley or Angle, they are the best "Real" wrestlers there if it came to a graple they would probably win.
In a real fight my bets with Orlando Jordan, he has boxing experiance,( i remeber hearing he had won golden gloves) so he would probably fuck the whole locker room up,

All I know is that when I'm eating at a restaurant and done with my meal, they ask me if I want a refill. I want some more but I don't think I'll drink the whole thing so I say fill it up half way. Then when they bring my drink back it is always 3/4's filled up.

What holds would u reckon? STF or a freestlye bow and arrow??
If it comes down to holds, a basic guillotine is very effective. I used to use it in my fights all the time. STFs, bow and arrows, crippler crossfaces, sharpshooters, and figure fours are all unlikely, and stupid, moves to ever use in a real, 100% legitimate fight. The guillotine is locked on quickly, and can end the fight within seconds of applying it. Untrained fighters are usually stupid enough to telegraph a takedown, so when they charge, catch 'em, lock 'em in, and take 'em down. Put your forearm across their carotid artery, and pull up and toward you, and the fight is finished.
Its gotta be lashley, just as skilled as lesnar or angle, but is stronger and faster,

I'll admit right now that I've seen very, very little of Bobby Lashley, but I find that really hard to believe for the simple fact that I've seen Brock Lesnar. That guy was freakishly strong, and I say that with the most literal meaning intended. Lets not forget he gave an F-5 and a Belly to Belly suplex to the Big Show, and F-5'd Mark Henry like he was a normal sized man.
Real Deal
05-19-2006, 12:04 AM
True, but cena has FU'd the big show, and I remeber Goldberg jack hammering the Bigshow, and recently matt morgan F5 the bigshow. That's not the strength iam talking about, if we are talking that kind of strenght then Mark henry is far stronger than all of them, I know its only a gimick now but he did enter the world strongest man contest.
I'm talking about the stregth that comes from speed and agility, the strength you see from a middle wieght boxer, I would easily bet that lashley would have that type explosive sort of strength, I am beeting you will see lashley pull off some big moves on some big guys, He gave the dominator to JBL with ease, and has recently scoop slamed henry. its only a matter of time before he goes up against big show.
And genitically its well known that africans consist of fast twitch muscles, giving them the edge in most sports (boxing, athletics, basketball)
So to conlude thisa admittly gay post. Lashley would win an amatur bout.
an I'd still say Orlando boxing history, matched with his lean heavy wieght frame would punch the shit out of the whole lockeroom.
Size isnt as important than peopl think, it comes down to speed, accuracy and pure ability. thats why boxers will win more fights.
if we are talking that kind of strenght then Mark henry is far stronger than all of them, I know its only a gimick now but he did enter the world strongest man contest.
World's Strongest Man Contest? You do mean the weightlifting in the Olympics right? It's not a gimmick he was actually at one point in time the world's strongest man. He broke the world record at the Olympics.
Real Deal
05-19-2006, 03:24 AM
power lifting in the Olympics, and I think he may have entered WSM contest after the olympics. and I meant its only a gimmick, now, currently, 10 years out of his prime.
Here's our tale of the tape:
Brock Lesnar
Height: 6'2
Weight: 285
Age: 28
Achievements:
NCAA Heavyweight Runner-up (1999)
NCAA Heavyweight Champion (2000)
Bobby Lashley
Height: 6'3
Weight: 273
Age: 29
Achievements:
3-time National Champion (Missouri Valley College) (1996-1998)
NAIA National Wrestling Champion (1997-1998) wrestling in only the 80kg weight division which is about 180 pounds.
The way I see it, Lesnar has the bigger credentials having won a more prestigious wrestling competition plus he has the weight advantage. If Lashley was only 180 pounds or so less than ten years ago, he must be pumping some serious roids in order to have gotten as big as he is. Obviously it would be a close fight, but I'm biased because Lesnar's white.
And THAT'S the REAL DEAL.
That Damn Alright
05-19-2006, 07:58 AM
Mark Henry finished 16th in the Olympics I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I'd back Lesnar against Lashley every time, but I think we'll just have to agree to disagree
Lesnar's insane. When he goes into training he bathes in ice to increase his pain endurance and he runs up hills with logs on his back to improve his power and stamina. That kinda shit is nuts.
That Damn Alright

angle because he is relentless and he would probbably never back down even if he was truly fucked, he would carry on throwing punches.
also shelton benjamin, because of his speed and his jumping ability, hes punches would be quick and hard to keep track of and he could just keep jumping over everyone when they tried to charge at him.

She did have legitimate health problems and needed a surgery. WWE was pissed that she didn't tell them before she was hired, even though she knew full well. Therefore WWE pulled her off TV, using the "heart problems" storyline. She is still on the payroll, but she is unlikely to be used again and will likely be let go soon.

Yoshihiro Takayama hands down the most brutal shoot fighter ever. Japanese wrestlers who wrestle under strong style and rules like that I consider to be the toughest. You're not gonna see Triple H taking Kobashi's stiff ass chops without crying.
That Damn Alright
05-26-2006, 09:36 AM
Why? Jap wrestlers aren't a different breed of human, they are men just like Triple H is a man. Triple H finished a match with his quad muscle rolled up to the top of his leg, I think he could take a gook slapping him.
It's not taking chops that makes these Japs tough, it's either the sheer bravery or stupidity behind some of the suplexes they take.

Well yes taking bumps is good I guess, but strong style is just basically working stiff and adding realistic moves to it. Inoki also was known for being one hell of a shoot fighter, what I'm saying is that alot of Japanese wrestlers have real fighting backrounds. I also see that racism is a big thing of this board so I better just ignore it...
So what if they real fighting backgrounds? That doesn't necessarily make you a good pro wrestler. See Ken "Shitty Superstar" Shamrock.

Didn't Inoki beat the crap out of Muhammed Ali at one stage?
HA, did he fuck. I read an article on this once. Inoki was scheduled to face Ali in a worked match. But Ali felt he would be conning the fans if it was worked. So the match was turned to a shoot. Inoki, of course, shit himself and spen the whole match on his ass kicking away at Alis legs. This caused alot of bruising and a blood clot to Alis leg.
The Wrestling Machine
05-26-2006, 10:28 AM
"The match with Muhammad Ali in 1976 was originally supposed to have been worked. Ali's camp feared that Inoki would turn the fight into a shoot, which led them to restrict the fight to striking rules only, with no suplexes and slams allowed. Ali landed a total of six punches to Inoki and Inoki kept to his back in a defensive position almost the full duration of the match, hitting Ali with a low kick repeatedly. The bout ended in a draw, 3-3."
Yeah sort of.

I have gotten 1000's of letter and emails and would like to say Thanks Again to the Fans out there for taking the time to send them. It has helped pass time reading them and trying to answer as many as possible.
If I have missed anyone please resend it as I have had a problem with them going into the bulk mail folder as spam.
I have one card I can not respond to simply because no return address was given..it was a priceless card and would like to send something to you guys....
so If Andy in Marietta Oh is reading as Catt says he does then please send me an email at bob@bobhollywrestling.com with your address.
