Note: there is a slight spoiler here, although I really doubt anyone gives a shit.
Well folks, its that time once again for your predictions for the show that, without fail, ends up being the worst of the year. Can they break the streak this year? Prediction. Maybe. Another streak is on the line, will this make 3 years in a row where Undertaker kills off a useless and unnecessary character? God, I hope so.

Shelton is on Raw dude.
Noble and Kash have a terrible gimmick atm.
I have no clue about the Punjabi thing.
My predictions:
Rey
Finlay
London and Kendrick
Taker
Kennedy (after Henry interferes)
Ashley
Helms
Punjabi prison match is apparantly a casket match with a different name.
Wasn't "The Pitbulls" on Raw the other week?
Predictions:
Booker T
Finlay
Paul London & Brian Kendrick
The Undertaker
Ashley Massaro
Michelle McCool
Mystery guy
Super Crazy

Jamie Noble and Kid Kash = The Pitbulls??
I don't mind the Pitbulls gimmick. It's not gimmicky enough to prevent Noble and Kash from adding something to SD!'s tag division. I reckon the Punjabi Prison match will be some sort of bodybag match inside a mini Hell in a Cell, like a normal steel cage but with a roof.
Anyway predictions...
- New WWE Champion in King Booker to set up a SummerSlam match against Tabista.
- Finlay to retain the US Title.
- London & Kendrick to retain the tag titles.
- Taker to go over the not-so-great Khali.
- Batista over Kennedy.
- Couldn't care less who wins the bra & panties match.
- Dunno if Helms will even get on the card, might have to do with HEAT.
EDIT: I hear Super Crazy will go against Helms for the Cruiserweight Title. I could see Crazy going over.

It should be noted that Lashley has been removed from the PPV. Which makes the US Title Match a one on one between Finlay vs Regal.

The word is that Sabu is be in action at GAB, Lashley is out of the Triple Threat match for illness I believe, and Big Show will replace Khali in the Punjabi Prison match as Khali has a diseased liver and is very likely to be taken off the road for a long time. I think Sabu will face Helms for the CW title.
I figured they dropped Khali because he's just shit. Liver disease? He probably has gigantism like Andre had.
I liked the PPV tonight. Tag match at the start was decent, Regal/Finlay was a very good brawl only the gay-ass crowd didn't appreciate it.
Why was Lashley dropped anyway? Steroids probably.
Hardy/Helms was good. Strange that Helms went over. I thought they might have been starting a Hardy push after his win over Kennedy. JBL put him over well on commentary though.
Punjabi Prison match was boring although I thought Show did a good job with the expressions before the bout.
I would make shit of that bitch Krystal.
Batista/Kennedy was a lot better than I thought it would be and there's a sound logic behind the ending. There was no pre-planned feud so Kennedy doesn't get pinned but Batista still goes over. Kennedy's accidental blooding looked pretty rough. The red seeping into the bleached hair looked Flair-esque.
Main event wasn't a great match and Booker winning just seemed a bit boring. I could see the Chavo thing coming a mile away as did anyone else who follows wrestling.

Did Chavo betray Mysterio? Because I watched the little backstage thing and saw it coming, and I haven't seen Smackdown is months.
Yeah. Steel chair to the head.

Now that Mysterio's lost the strap will he be out for knee surgery? Or will it be Chavo Vs. Mysterio at Summerslam?

Depends on the severity of the injury. If it's bad, I will predict that Chavo will attack Mysterio's knee on Smackdown, putting him out long enough to get his surgery, and then they will have a match (maybe a gimmick match) at Survivor Series. WWE will likely film the surgery and blame it all on Chavo to get the sympathy vote, similar to Batista's injury, and how they blamed it on Mark Henry, or JBL's hand injury and how they blamed it on Benoit. If he's able to work through it, they'll work a match at SummerSlam, and maybe do the knee injury angle there.

It's safe to say--and I'll be the one to say it--this is easily the best WWE-produced Great American Bash.
I know I'm going out on a limb, there....

I don't mind the Pitbulls gimmick. It's not gimmicky enough to prevent Noble and Kash from adding something to SD!'s tag division.
I tend to agree with this. It's not like they're coming to the ring with bones in their mouths, or barking, or pretending to pee on their opponents, like other dog name-based wrestlers. I rather like the Pitbulls. Kash and Noble are believable as small but vicious wrestlers, and have been a good foil for Kendrick and London.
I heard something about Kash being taken off the road, possibly something to do with this liver mystery. What the fuck is the quack at SD! like?

There are too many fucking cruiser weights in the tag devision on Smackdown.
But there has never been any big guy tag team champs for a while before Kane & Big Show and Batista & Rey Mysterio but with Batista & Rey one of them was a cruiserweight.

London/Kendrick vs. Kash/Noble was probably the best match at the GAB. Typical of you to bitch about one of the few things that are progressing nicely in WWE at the moment.

First of all, I didn't buy the PPV.
Secondly, I like London and Kendrick, I don't mind their tag team and think they should keep the belts. But the fact that they just grabbed two little cruiserweights and made a team out of them is rediculous. It's also rediculous because their champ, Helms isn't defending his belt at all cause all of his oppenents have other belts or are fighting for other belts.
Thirdly, the Pitbulls are lame ass, come on, a fucking dog collar, what the fuck is that. I guess they are small enough to have as pets anyway...
As Davo already said (either in this thread or another, I really couldn't be arsed finding it), the Pitbulls' gimmick isn't over the top enough to give out about. So what if they where dog collars coming to the ring? It's not like they're sniffing each others asses and pissing where they shouldn't be.
At this point the Cruiserweight Title is completely worthless. Better to have good cruiserweights in the tag division than good cruiserweights in the cruiser division that will get a TV match only once a month or something.

The PPV was mediocre in my view. Not as bad as I'd expected, but not something I'll be talking about for the next five months.
The tag team match was entertaining. A nice style clash and I thought London and Kendrick gave it a lot more then most cruisers would have.
I enjoyed the Regal/Finlay bout but what is up with Lashley here. Probably aftershocks of an early steroid use. It'll fuck you liver up completely. (Just ask Zoso)
What is up with their use of Hardy? First they make him go over cleanly against Kennedy... Kennedy! and then they throw him in a title match against Helms without any storyline behind it what so ever... And they have him lose? Do they even know what to do with him at this point? I doubt it.
The Punjabi prison match had a cool build up, but the last minute change fucked it up. You could tell that they hadn't rehearsed it probably, and what was up with the outter cage giving away at the end because Show leaned on it? What was the big deal about it anyway? They've been talking about this Punjabi prison fro a long long time and when it's finally exposed it just a big Bamboo hut (which they probably had Khali build himself the day before the PPV, and then they remove him from the match) which couldn't even withstand a simple bump from Show.
Bra and Panties match? Gave me time to get a few colds ones outta the fridge. Make it a lesbian naked showdown next time, Vince!
The Kennedy/Tabista match was actually the most entertaining in my view. The confrontation with the stairs looked unhealthy for Ken Ken, but they seemed to have some chemistry in the ring, which surprised me as they haven't really fought in a big match environment before. Kennedy winning by DQ... Does that make him the first contender or? It would seem pointless to make Tabista the first contender coming off a loss...
The Main Event... Well I wasn't expecting that much so I wasn't disappointed. They made Booker champ? Well if you overlook that Vince isn't big on awarding the big straps to niggers (I actually don't think it has happened before. Booker brought the title from WCW and The Rock received it the first time Vince got a chance to make it so), then it was expected.
The heel turn might make the fans and the writers stop humping Eddie's dead body. Thank God for that.
It would seem pointless to make Tabista the first contender coming off a loss...
It's Smackdown! logic doesn't matter.

Helms was supposed to go over Super Crazy but he has liver problems too so they just threw in Hardy to do the job.

No idea, but half the Smackdown roster will be gone if this keeps happening, and why is the RAW roster unaffected?
What is up with all these liver diseases?
Apparently Hardy's being taken out because he has traces of a staph infection in his blood. Probably not very serious.
