Sucked. Let me save some of you money. Ortiz/Shamrock lasted no more than 30 seconds with a ref stoppage (which was bullshit, cuz Ortiz hadn't yet begun to whup up on Shamrock, especially when you consider the blood bath that was tonightsd opening match). Ortiz won, which was the only good thing about it.

Then Arlovski and Silvia fought the crappiest title match in history. They did nothing but throw jabs for 25 minutes. Silvia won. Arlovski disappointed me.

Dana White had some really popular dude from another MMA group (can't remember his name; he goes by "The Axe Murderer) come into the ring and challenge Chuck Liddell. Match is set for November PPV. <<<< this was the highlight of the night.

UFC got Wanderlei Silva? Holy fuck. I think he'll rape Chuck.

I wanted to see this PPV pretty bad, but none of the bars around here are allowed to show PPVs anymore for free.

Yes. If Chuck beats Silva I'll be incredibly shocked. I'm already pumped for this fight, and that's a good sign for UFC.

We were hoping it would be a suprise match for last nights show. Desperate thinking... goes to show you how much 61 sucked.

Chuck's gonna fuck him up. Vitor Belfort beat Vanderlai Silva, and Belfort's got nothing on Chuck. Babaloo might win the title before that though, he's pretty hot right now and even if he wasn't, he's still a fucking good fighter.

All in all I agree, it was an absolutely terrible PPV. I didn't mind Shamrock Vs Ortiz not going long because it was always going to happen. Shamrock is old and shit, Ortiz is in his prime and getting back to his best. Shamrock can hate Tito all he wants, but he cannot and will not ever beat him up, so he's just got to swallow his pride now and shut the fuck up, because he's never going to get revenge and every time Tito whoops him, it's just another defeat he's got to stomach. It was a stoppage though, the ref was right to do it. Tito dropped like 6 unblocked elbows on Shamrock. If it had carried on that way, Shamrock could have died so it was the right thing to do.

The main event was basically a boxing match, and neither of them are even close to being world class boxers so it was boring, and Frank Mir's fight was an absolute joke.

Best match of the night was Joe Stevenson Vs Yves Edwards. Can't believe Yves lost and I don't think he would have if not for the cut on his head. after all that blood loss you could see Yves was a bit zoned and out of it

Put me on the list of people looking forward to 62 because of Chuck. Who else will be fighting in that one, Hughes?

The thing that pissed me off the most about the Shamrock/Ortizzile fight is the Stevenson/Edwards fight. Edwards lost a SHIT TON of blood. There was probably close to a half gallons worth on that mat before it was called. The ref gave SO much leverage... I thought he was going to pass out from the bloodloss alone. Then, we go to the Sham/Ortiz match, and it gets called not even 30 seconds into it, after a few elbows were thrown. Granted there was no way Shamrock was getting up (and Ortiz said Ken went limp on the last hit... how much of that was showboating, I don't know). You would definately expect some more leeway to be given to a Main Event type match (in terms of hype) like that.
