I think they rushed the change of the belt that was going to happen at Saturday Night's Main Event because of the whole RVD/Sabu drug thing. Anyway, if you missed RAW Edge became the new champion after hitting Cena with the belt and pinning RVD who was just Fued.

Not hugely surprised that it happened but I didn't expect it so soon. I guess it will spike ratings in the short term. I wonder if RVD will lose the ECW Title soon as well.

I agree. It seems like they're going the tried and true route of having Cena get continually screwed out of the belt. It should get more folks cheering for him again. Part of me wonders why they didn't do it even sooner. Although I guess the whole RVD thing gave ECW more buzz.

Not a big Edge fan, but it would be good to see him (or any other heel) have the title for a while.
