They should fire that Brodie Lee guy and hire Matt Anarchy to take his place.He'd fit better with the Age of the Fall.That being said, it was my first time seeing an entire ROH show so Liverlips, i'm sorry but i can't really compare the Gab era with the Pearce era.Here's the results from last night...

Dark match featuring wrestlers from a local fed called the IWS...

Stupefied beat Exess, The Green Phantom and Dan Paysan in a four-way match.

Next up the actual ROH show...

Erick Stevens beat Eddie Edwards (with Shane Hagadorn and Bobby Dempsey) in the opening match and the crowd was into it big time.A lot of back and forth between the two.Fun match.

The Briscoe Brothers beat Kenny King and Kenny Omega after King walked out on Omega and met Rhett Titus on the entrance way.The Briscoes won with a Doomsday Device on Omega.They helped Omega to get on his feet and walked out together.During the match, the crowd started to chant "Obama" to King and Jay tried to contain his laughter while Mark just stood there with an empty look in his face.The Briscoes got a standing ovation when they came in and when they left.

The Necro Butcher beat Brodie Lee by DQ after Jacobs and Black ran in and attacked Necro.The match itself was kind of boring but Necro took some wild bumps to no one's surprise.

Nigel McGuinness comes in and cuts a promo.He berates Necro who will face him in Toronto and says that he's the best there is, best there was and best there ever will be.Crowd starts chanting "You screwed Bret" and most us laughed.

Jerry Lynn defeats Delirious (with Jimmy Jacobs) in an ok match but nothing special.Jacobs eventually got thrown out of the ringside area after getting caught attacking Lynn.Huge pop for Jerry and Delirious was pretty over.

Davey Richards (with Eddie Edwards and Shane Hagadorn) beat Roderick Strong in an awesome match with a lot of near falls and damn nice spots.Richards reminds me of a pre-British Bulldogs era Dynamite Kid with his tights and his shaved head.Strong can go and Richards sold like hell.Quite possibly my favorite match of the night.

Bryan Danielson and Austin Aries beat Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black.The main story of the match is of course Aries trying to get Jacobs one-on-one and Jacobs running away or tagging Black in everytime Aries showed up.Pretty good match overall with Aries, Black and Danielson doing most of the work and Jacobs not doing much.I haven't seen a lot of Jacobs matches but am i wrong to say that he's better off as a mouthpiece than a wrestler ? because everytime he went in, he didn't seem that special.

And the main event...

Nigel McGuinness pinned Kevin Steen after a Lariat.It was a four-way elimination match that saw El Generico pinned after a Go Flasher from Go Shiozaki.Kevin Steen then made Shiozaki submit to a Sharpshooter.The crowd was hot for this one.Real solid match but came off more like a tag team match between Go and Nigel versus the tag team champs which is understandable since they were the hometown boys who faced the evil foreigners.Steen got very close to winning the World Title which would've greatly surprised me if he would've.

I can't recall which move it was he did, but Nigel got his foot on the ropes and when the referee got up and saw that, he signaled to Steen that he did not win and of course the match continued.

Overall, it was pretty damn good show and i already have my ticket for their show in Montreal on April 17th.The crowd was into it from top to bottom and the wrestlers really look like they enjoyed themselves here.
