I was just thinking about DC the other day. I was thinking that even with subpar teams like DC, High Voltage, Al Green and Roadblock, etc., the 96-98 era WCW Saturday Night had a better tag team division than WWE and TNA combined. Then I realized I was a loser for thinking about wrestling so much.

Look weasel, TNA will only get the publication they want by bringing in guys who are faces hugely recognizable by the casual wrestling fan. IE Sting, Nash, Jarrett, Steiner, Cage. They are using Nash to get their X Division over and Joe will win the belt from Sting at Bound for Glory. The older guys aren't there for their own gain ( other than the paychecks ) they're getting the future of TNA over. Remember D'lo Brown? He helped AJ Styles get as over as he is today with a big feud. That's why the old guys are there, to draw in new fans and elevate the young guys.

Jeff Hardy is a backyard wrestler that got lucky. That being said , TNA needs big names like Nash, Sting, Steiner, and Jarret to get viewers to tune in and see the young guys. I think TNA is doing a good job considering they are still sitting in the shadows of the WWE/ECW giant. Come to think of it now would be a good time to push to get a 2 hour show.

They need to keep the more established, famous wrestlers like Sting, and Nash, to bring more fans in. If they only have new young guys like Samoa Joe, people wont know who they are ,and wont watch. Once people tune in to see Sting, Nash, and the other guys you say should be fired, then they will see the younger, and less famous guys.

I watched a repeat of TNA Hard Jusitice on The Wrestling Channel the other night. The Sting vs. Jarrett main event with Christian and Scott Steiner in the respective corners was utter bollocks. Not even the live crowd were into it. I can't believe they actually still book that kind of bullshit. Sting is NOT a draw anymore, the other three are far from it also. Seeing as they just stay in Florida I don't understand why they don't just book it like an indie fed where they put their most over guys in the main events. The live crowd and a few dedicated fans are the ones who make them money, not mainstream wrestling fans, so it makes sense to protect its foundations, not try to compete with WWE which they simply can't do.

i personally like tna it's a breath of fresh air compared to the same bullshit on wwe every week. christopher daniels and A.J. styles are the future of wrestling along with samoa joe add a few legends (Sting,Jarret,Nash) throw kurt angle into the mix and you have a recipe for success
