Day One of King of Hardcore V saw the opening matches in the tournament to crown the King of Hardcore, with the victor winning the PWF World Heavyweight Title. This video has highlights of the three tag team matches which kicked off the show on August 9, 2008. It set's up Day Two of the tournament.

King of Hardcore V Day One - 09/08/08
Day 1 of King of Hardcore V saw Bryan Tucker accomplish his goal, making it to a year as PWF World Heavyweight Champion when the team of PAD & Bryan Tucker beat David Tucker & The Bodyguard to advance to the semi-final of the tournament, where they will meet Walter Craib & Will Main.
CEO Neysha Spalding also announced that on Day Two, a #1 Contendership tournament will take place for those not involved in the semi-final.
RESULTS
Wild Card Qualifier - winner advances to KOH quarter-final
Walter Craib & Will Main def. David Tucker & Massimo Hayashi when Will pinned David after a Senton Bomb off the top of the ladder on to both members of Pride ProTection.
Quarter-final 1
Walter Craib & Will Main def. Jay Santini & Kevin Starr when Jay accidently hit Kevin with a sign, and then Walter Craib hit the Toxic Crusader on Jay through a piece of wood.
Quarter-final 2
.PAD. & Bryan Tucker def. The Bodyguard & David Tucker when they both evaded the Kendo Swords of Pride ProTection, then hit a simulatineous Rock Bottom and Stunner combo.

Walter Craib & Will Main Vs. .PAD. & Bryan Tucker. Winning team then face each other in the final to determine the King of Hardcore, and the PWF World Heavyweight Champion
#1 Contendership Mini Tournament
Kevin Starr Vs. Massimo Hayashi
Jay Santini Vs. David Tucker
The two winners then meet each other in the final.
Over King of Hardcore weekend, the PWF board have waived the PWF rules - that means the matches are no disqualifcation, anything goes. The winner of the King of Hardcore tournament will also become PWF Champion - meaning Bryan Tucker must win the tournament to retain his title.
