TNM #27 - 10/06/08

Michael Manners opens the show by recapping what a marvellous show Three Kings 2008 was. Says that PAD is still laid up in hospital after the beating he took at the hands of Walter Craib last week but in other news, Michael tells us that CEO Neysha Spalding will have news of the number one contender to face Bryan Tucker at Revelation… and that announcement is next!!!

After the Three Kings 2008 highlight video, we hear from Neysha who announces that after his win last week at Three Kings, Walter Craib will get a PWF World Heavyweight Title shot at our next big show, Revelation. However, she adds that she has also arranged a “champion’s challenge” and explains that Bryan Tucker will have to defend his title on the next four Tuesday Night Meat shows, against four different opponents. Says that starts tonight in a main event pitting the champion against…. Kevin Starr!!!

We then hear from tonight’s title challenger, Kevin Starr. Kevin says that this is the biggest match of his career and he intends to take this opportunity. Says that he trained under Bryan - but is ready to take over as PWF World Heavyweight Champion!

We then see David Tucker arriving at the PWF Arena with The Bodyguard. Michael Manners asks David for a word about his match tonight with Jay Santini, the Bodyguard steps in between them to ensure Michael is unable to get this.

We then hear from Walter Craib fresh from being informed of his Revelation title shot. Says that many people have been wondering why he said that after he had finished getting revenge on PAD, he was going after Bryan Tucker. Many people have commented that Walter and Bryan are friends. But Walter says that is not true, Bryan has been hiding something all this time. Says he knows Bryan’s secret - and he’s going to reveal it to the world. Says that he’s going to let Bryan have his moment in the sun in today’s main event - but next week on TNM, he will reveal all to the PWF world. Walter concludes by warning Bryan that if he even makes it to Revelation, at some point in the next month, there is going to be a new PWF Champion crowned!

Intercontinental Championship - Walter Craib Vs. The Bodyguard Vs. Will Main (champion) Vs. Massimo Hayashi

Wow, what a fatal four-way this was but in the end, the champion retained his title after hitting the Main Effect and pining the Bodyguard.

Next we see Bryan Tucker approaching CEO Neysha Spalding. Bryan says people might think he is scared of this challenge that Neysha has laid down - Bryan says he is not. As champion, he is going to prove he is the best. Says that if he is going to lose his belt, he wants it to be fair. Asks Neysha to ensure the rules of the PWF are enforced - and that anyone found interfering in these title matches will be fired immediately. Neysha reluctantly agrees to Bryan’s request and wishes him luck for tonight’s main event.

Jay Santini Vs. David Tucker

The Bodyguard accompanied David Tucker to the ring, and it wasn’t long before he became involved in the match, pulling down the top rope as Jay Santini looked to execute a move, sending him tumbling backwards. The referee had no choice but to call for the disqualification as The Bodyguard and David Tucker continued the assault. They left Jay laying by hitting a Full-Nelson/Sitout Powerbomb combo, and left as Will Main ran to the ring to save his friend!

Michael Manners then catches a word with PWF Champion Bryan Tucker. Bryan says his goal since day one has been clear - to etch his name in PWF history. Says as his reign as PWF champion reaches the 10-month stage he has become more aware of how he can do this - reach a year as champion. Bryan says that only then can he be considered on the top tier. Says the next five weeks will be difficult, but he is determined to come through. Walter Craib then comes into shot, sarcastically clapping. Says that tonight could be the end of Bryan’s reign as champion - but next week he is in for a bigger shock when he tells his dirty little secret to the whole PWF world. Says Bryan will be exposed as the self-servant, two-faced, lying piece-of-shit that he has always been. Bryan re-iterated that he doesn’t know what Walter’s talking about - Walter says Bryan knows fine well and that’s why he is shitting his pants. Walter leaves as Bryan is visible shaken by the confrontation.

PWF World Heavyweight Championship: Bryan Tucker Vs. Kevin Starr

Throughout this match it looked like we could see a new PWF Champion crowned as Bryan made vital errors allowing Kevin Starr to take control. As the match progressed, Bryan became more desperate. This was not the Bryan Tucker we have come to know, and this was proved by the finish to this one!
As Kevin looked to end it with his Starr Drop, Bryan raked Kevin’s eyes, then out with the eyesight of referee Taylor Ross, sensational hit a low-blow. He followed it up with the Rock Bottom and a three-count followed!
As Bryan clutched his belt and mouthed the words, “I’m sorry”, we fully realized what the PWF Champion would do to retain his title! Who will be the next challenger? We, and Bryan Tucker, will have to wait until TNM next week to find out!

MATCH RESULTS: IC Title, Fatal Four-Way: Will Main (champ) def. The BodyGuard, Massimo Hayashi & Walter Craib by pinning the Bodyguard; Jay Santini def. David Tucker by disqualification; World Heavyweight Title: Bryan Tucker (champ) def. Kevin Starr.

NEXT WEEK What secret of Bryan’s is Walter going to reveal next week? Is it mind games by the man who will face the champion in four weeks time at Revelation, or does Walter have proof of his accusations? The champion certainly is rattled and just scraped past Kevin Starr this week. He defends the title again next week - who will be the next challenger? And David Tucker and The BodyGuard have made their intentions clear, double-teaming Jay Santini. Will Jay be looking for revenge? Find out next week on Tuesday Night Meat!!!
