PWF Interviewer Michael Manners opens the show and informs us that the rumour mill has been running rampant since last week’s gauntlet match which could have effects on next week’s Three Kings card. Last week Walter Craib won the gauntlet match to win a shot at the PWF Title at Three Kings, however, Michael says there have been whisperings on the internet about some sort of deal that could change that. Mr. Manners says he will strive to get to the bottom of this and find out if there is any truth to the rumours.
After the opening credits, Kevin Starr is approached by PWF CEO Neysha Spalding who informs him that the board have awarded him a shot at the PWF IC Title at Three Kings after his strong performances over the last month. Suddenly Massimo Hayashi runs into shot and is screaming at Neysha. She tells Massimo that he has had his opportunity - Kevin then butts in and says Massimo is nothing but a joke and Kevin could beat him any day. This gives Neysha an idea - she says that if Massimo can beat Kevin in under 10 minutes, then Massimo can take Kevin’s place at Three Kings. Kevin says there’s no way that will happen - Massimo won’t even last five minutes with him!
We then hear from Patrick J’Murray who says the last few weeks have been devastating for him - first a defeat to Will, then Walter Craib returning last week in the Gauntlet match. PAD thinks it time to refocus and says he’s making a challenge for tonight - to Will Main! Says he doesn’t need the title on the line, he just wants to prove once-and-for-all that he can beat Will Main!
We then next here from PWF World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Tucker. Bryan says he has heard the speculation but says that all talk is secondary - whoever Bryan faces next week at Three Kings will not get their hands on the gold. Turns his attention to tonight’s match with Jay Santini - says it’s finally time to put the issue between them to rest - and tonight that will happen with a win for Bryan Tucker.
Massimo must beat Kevin in under 10 minutes to take his place at Three Kings
Kevin Starr Vs. Massimo Hayashi
Both these wrestlers threw everything at each other, with Massimo on three occasions very nearly getting the winning pinfall. However, the time limit expired and Massimo had failed in his quest to replace Kevin at Survivor War.
However, PWF CEO Neysha Spalding came down to the ring and said that both men had proved themselves worthy of a title match - so she was making a Triple Threat match between Will Main, Kevin Starr and Massimo Hayashi for next week’s supershow.
Next we see Michael Manners who finds David Tucker and asks him about this speculation about his “Make-a-wish” contract. David acts all disgusted by Michael interrupting him, says everyone will soon find out what he has decided to do with his prize for winning Race To The Top II.
Non-title: Will Main Vs. PAD
What a battle this was between these two! In the early stages, Will Main took full advantage but gradually PAD came back into this one. But everything he tried wouldn’t end the match. As frustration kicked in, Will Main hit the comeback trail.
The ending came as Will was locked in the Dragon Clutch. As he scrambled to get out, referee Taylor Ross was knocked to the ground. With the referee knocked out, PAD hit the Stunner but there was no-one to count the fall. As PAD turned his back, in ran - Walter Craib. As PAD turned round, Walter hit him with the Black Hole Slam before planting Will Main on top of PAD and getting the three-count.
But Walter wasn’t finished. He said the speculation was true - there had been a deal done in the week. Says him and David Tucker had traded their respective prizes - David was now the #1 Contender, and more importantly for PAD, Walter now holds the “Make-A-Wish” Briefcase. Says last week was just the start of his payback - at Three Kings 2008, PAD and Walter will once again do battle in a Old School PWF Rules Match! Walter then continues the beating, cracking him over the head with the Briefcase in the process.
Walter wasn’t finished however. Says that although he doesn’t want the title right now - says right after he’s done beating PAD, he’s going on to kick the crap out of Bryan Tucker. So this makes things more clearer!
In the back we see Kevin Starr leaving the PWF Arena when he is sneak-attacked by Massimo Hayashi. However, Will Main makes the save spearing Massimo into a trailer! Will tells Kevin he’s not happy how Kevin beat him last week in the gauntlet match by holding the tights. Kevin says that it was just business. Will says that cheaters are not winners, Kevin says that he guesses we will see if that’s true next week. Massimo by this time has stumbled to his feet, both Kevin and Will knock him to the ground, before continuing their stare-off!
In the back, we see Bryan Tucker and David Tucker arguing. Neysha comes into shot and says Jay Santini has traded in his title re-match so it will now be a Three-Way Ladder match at Three Kings 2008 - just like in 2004! Bryan says once-again the odds have been stacked against him, but says there is no way he is leaving Three Kings being screwed again! Says the title belongs to him and it’s going nowhere soon!
Non-title: Bryan Tucker Vs. Jay Santini
These two are no strangers to each other, and after battling back-and-forth for 20 minutes, it was Bryan Tucker who struck gold by reversing the Emerald Fusion to hit the Rock Bottom. However, before getting the three-count, David Tucker interfered and caused the disqualification.
Jay and David then teamed up on the champ, delivering a violent beating which included a Downward Spiral onto a ladder, and Bryan being splashed whilst sandwiched between the ladder! The odds are firmly set against Bryan Tucker and it looks like his 10-month reign as PWF Champion could be immentily about to end!
The show ended with Bryan’s beaten body below both Jay Santini and David Tucker - on top of the ladder with the PWF Title! Who is going to leave next week’s supershow, the fifth of the new PWF, with the gold? Find out next week!
RESULTS Kevin Starr DRAW Massimo Hayashi; Will Main def. .PAD.; Bryan Tucker def. Jay Santini by DQ
NEXT WEEKThree Kings 2008 is the next instalment of PWF supershow action, and what a card we have lined up. First off, after Massimo and Kevin went to a time-limit draw, the board have ordered Will Main Vs. Kevin Starr Vs. Massimo Hayashi for the PWF IC Title. Plus, the PWF board have confirmed that Walter’s Craib’s “Old School PWF Rules” Match with PAD will be the main event. Mr. Manners’ speculation was correct - Walter had traded his #1 Contendership, won in last week’s gauntlet, with David Tucker’s “Make-a-wish” briefcase. Consequently, we will have a traditional Three-Way Ladder Match for the PWF World Heavyweight Title. It promises to be quite a show - log on next week to find out the fall-out from Three Kings 2008!
