TNM #21: 22/04/08
To start the show, Michael Manners is shown. He wraps up Survivor War and announce that Michael Chan has resigned his position as CEO of the PWF. Michael is pleased to announce that the board have lined up their replacement - Neysha Spalding. Says she will be in the PWF Arena later tonight with a special announcement … so stay tuned for that.
After watching the Survivor War highlights, we hear from .PAD. Who says that last week, Walter got exactly what he deserved when he tapped out to the Dragon Clutch. .PAD. Dismisses the claims that Walter had indeed won the match - says there is no controversy, he won and that’s the end of the matter!
However, we next hear from Walter Craib who calls what happened last week an injustice. He says that he wants answers from the PWF board as to why they restarted the match, when it’s clear that .PAD. Tapped out first. Says he feels cheated out of his victory once again. As for .PAD., this is not over!
Michael Manners then catches a word with Massimo Hayashi. Massimo is pissed off at his loss last week. Massimo promises victory tonight in his match against Kevin Starr!
We then hear from PWF World Champion Bryan Tucker. Bryan talks about last week’s attack and its ending after Jay Santini attacked his arm and further aggravated his arm injury. Says the doctors are saying that he can‘t compete for 2-3 weeks. Bryan says he is gutted, but he has finally discovered why Jay is acting the way he is, and will address this later tonight.
Non-title match: Will Main Vs. Jay Santini
A battle of two of the most agile performers in the PWF saw IC Champion Will Main win, after countering Jay’s Ringpost Hurancunrana into a power bomb for the 1-2-3.
Michael Manners then talks to Kevin Starr about last week’s match. Kevin says that a double count out doesn’t end things between him and David. Tonight, he is going to beat Massimo Hayashi and he hopes to get another shot at David in the near future.
Kevin Starr Vs. Massimo Hayashi
Both guys did their upmost to win this one, but in the end it was Kevin Starr who grabbed the victory thanks to his trusty Spinebuster!
After the match, new PWF CEO Neysha Spalding came out to make her big announcement. Says that since there wasn’t a winner at Survivor War last week, next week’s TNM will feature a Survivor War rematch between David Tucker and Kevin Starr. Kevin Starr is delighted, David comes storming out and intimidates Neysha. Neysha stands up to David, slapping him across the face when he threatens violence.
Neysha says to make up for the three months of hell that David put Kevin through, next week’s match with be Three Stages of Hell - and Kevin gets to choose the stipulations! David can’t believe it and attacks Kevin, these two brawl to a fade as Neysha calls for security.
We are then joined by Bryan Tucker in the PWF Arena. He calls out Jay Santini and says he knows why Jay has been acting so strangely this year. Says he can bring back the old Santini - and says he has a little surprise for him. Music plays and out comes ….. LITTLE JAY …. Making his return to the PWF after seven months of rehab after being thrown off a cliff by the now-incapacitated Mamaris Tanaka.
Little Jay looks delighted to be back in the PWF, however, Jay Santini ain’t so happy but reluctantly shakes Bryan’s hand. However, as Bryan goes to leave, Jay refuses to let go of the handshake, then out of the blue, Jay attacks Bryan’s arm again, before delivering what looked like a Modest Bomb to Bryan, sending him away in fits of agony.
However, Santini wasn’t finished. As Little Jay tried to pull his former friend of Bryan Tucker, Santini attacks the helpless Little Jay, delivering an Emerald Fusion before locking on a submission hold that had the youngster screaming in pain. Bryan was helpless as Santini attacked the kid….this was utterly disgusting and deplorable!
In the back, PWF CEO Neysha approaches Walter Craib and says the decision stands, .PAD. won the match at Survivor War. Walter is pissed off, says that he won’t be responsible for his actions after this decision. Neysha warns Walter to stay away from .PAD., this thing is over between them. Walter says its far from over, and he doesn’t care what he has to do to gain revenge - he will! There is a stare-off between Walter and Neysha.
Walter Craib Vs. David Tucker
These two had a great battle, but just as it looked like Walter had it in the bag, David resorted to dirty tactics and found himself disqualified after using a chair to hit Walter, and then delivering a crushing downward spiral onto it.
As David left, pleased with the destruction he had caused, there was a surprise in store for him, as Kevin Starr attacked him and they brawled all over the PWF Arena. As time ran out on a PWF show, we were left to contemplate the first-ever Three Stages of Hell match on PWF television - next week!
MATCH RESULTS Will Main def. Jay Santini; Kevin Starr def. Massimo Hayashi; Walter Craib def. David Tucker by DQ
NEXT WEEK We will see a Three Stages of Hell match between David Tucker and Kevin Starr, with Kevin choosing the stipulations. That should be one hell of a match. Plus Walter has planned to get revenge against .PAD., but the former chairman is adament that their issue is settled. For all this and more, tune into PWF TNM next Tuesday night!
