Anyone got an idea who the 3 white South African male wrestlers were in the World Wrestling Federation between 1998-2001, apparently they wore army outfits.

i just heard about them, not sure if its true or not...

Recon, Sniper, Kurrgan (aka The Interrogator) and Tank (aka Mantaur) managed by the Kommandant then by The Jackyl. They were known as the Truth Commission.

Kurrgan looks like he's just got buttfucked by Shaggy or Pat Patterson or whomever.

Recon aka Bull Buchanan was the less worst of the bunch...i just didn't care for any of them at all.

The Jackyl had a nice psycho preacher kind of gimmick though then he went on to join ECW as Cyrus the Virus.

I assume this was the only time ever a south african faction/tag-team made it into the WWF...

were the truth commission heel?

Well, as "heel" as you can get without having any heat.

ah ok, amazingly "Kurrgan The Interrigator" was trained by Bret Hart

yeah, but i am talking from a south african point of view, myself being one, and already AMAZED that we actually had a few ppl in the WWF and one of them is trained by bret hart...just something different.

None of them were actually born in South Africa though.

What's the deal with this new Scottish team they advertised on RAW? They looked absolutely ridiculous but they might be funny in that shit kind of way.

They're the Highlanders...they've been in OVW for a little while.I've seen work a dark match before a Raw in Montreal and well...i didn't care much for them.

I saw them as well. The tagged in by slapping eachother's faces.

Yeah, the match I saw was vs. The Miz and the kid with the brain tumor. I think they could be comedy gold, and their style reminded me a bit of Haku and The Barbarian. I personally enjoyed them when I saw them.

Adrock, were you at the Raw where they had Cena vs. Jericho in a battle of the bands, where it ended up just being a Cena performance?

These guys sound great. But my liking of Billy Connolly probably has alot to do with that.

Billy Connolly isn't a good stand-up. He's a funny character, not a funny comedian. I don't think he's ever used legitimately funny stand-up material. He just walks out on stage and waffles in that oh-so-familiar Scottish accent of his.

I think his stand up is hillarious, personally.

I have "Get Right Intae Him" on tape, and it's fucking great. "GETDAFUUU YA BASSA!" Genius. I heard him on Opie and Anthony the other day, fucking funny. The Evil Scotsman is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard as well.
