Hahaha, Johnny Ace firing Animal is funny.
It's just as well though. His new gimmick with the gay biker attire wasn't exactly catching fire.
You'd have to wonder why they re-hired him in the first place.

I think they re-hired him to advertise his DVD, not sure when it will be released, or if it IS already released
- so i heard

They promoted the DVD, and then they had no use for him. The release was justified. He didn't fit in a storyline anywhere...

I dont think he was ever going to fit into any storyline as a singles wrestler, LOD with heidenrich & Christy hemme was ok...up to a point but what is where the cool'ness of Animal stops.
It's pretty funny how Heidenreich, Christy and Animal were all released. That stable was the Hindenburg of the WWE.

The attire and the gimmick was the original gimmick for the Road Warriors so that whole thing was a throwback.

Yes, I know that. But it looked like gay biker attire back then too.

That's what Hawk and Aninal thought too back then...so they started to wear tons of make-up and their haircuts were designed to show some kind of connection...they completed each other.
Now THAT doesn't sound gay at all my friend.

LOD vs APA would probably be cool

That IS the only reason he got hired. If they coulda found someone decent besides HeidenSnitsky to tag with him, he mighta been worth keepin' around longer. But seeing as how WWE shits all over the tag team division, meh.

The Road Warriors, not LOD.
