How the fuck does Vince 'Mr Twat' McMahon put a guy with a history of serious neck problems in ECW? How long is he going to last before he's permanently crippled?

Bishop, did you happen to catch Smackdown last night? If you did, you would've seen that Kurt Angle is still the baddest son of a bitch in the entire WWE.

Natch. We're having building work done which means no satellite for a few weeks so I'm just watching the vids on wwe.com. I'm not doubting that Angle is a tough old bastard and he has bags of intensity. All I'm saying is the spirit is willing but the neck is weak.

He's not going to be doing spotfests week after week. Heyman already made that all but clear. He's going to be in the same role in ECW that Malenko, Benoit, Guerrero, Jericho, etc. were in.

Was it me, or did it almost look like that Angle was saying during his match, "If this was for real, I could take you out anyime I wanted to"
He was doing alot of moves that could be considered submission moves in actual mat wrestling. I particularly liked him smacking Rey about the head.

That, my friend, is some of the best "working" of ring psychology you will ever see. Angle did a tremendous job in the ring Tuesday/Friday night.

Damnstraight and it was a pleasure to finally see something like that again.
Probably the best match I've seen since HBK vs HHH at their streetfight at Summerslam a couple years ago.
*Oh, and HBK and Angle at Wrestlemania. Good lord.

I think the HHH-HBK streetfight was good, but there were a few spots that really annoyed me about it. One of them I've mentioned before, regarding the Shane/Michaels match at SNME, and applies tenfold in this case: After Michaels had his back targeted and punished in various ways (like the backbreaker over the chair), Michaels climbs a ladder, hits an elbow drop... and nips up. That one, single, solitary move threw the credibility of the entire match out the window.

The reason he'll be able to "compete" in ECW is because it's not the ECW we know and love when Heyman ran it. Instead it's the watered down version which will be "sports entertainment" and be runned by Vince McDumbass.

No it won't, at least not for a while. Sure he'll have some influence, but I think Vince knows that Heyman knows better how to cater to the ECW fanbase than he does. Vince also knows that when Heyman was in charge of creative on SD, that it was kicking RAW's ass. So I could see Vince letting Paul have creative license for a very long time.

No, see, Kurt Angle is in it so it means Vince has full power.

Shit I liked the Angle/Shane fight at KOTR in 2001.....the belly to belly through the glass and the Angle slame off the 2X4 was fucking awsome....the whole match had great spots.

That match was horrible. Shane is not a wrestler. I'd rather watch five hours of XPW than to watch 5 seconds of Shane McMoron wrestle.

So you don't think Heyman liked the idea of Angle being into ECW? So you must hate Vince for having Sabu take on Rey for the World title? Lawler vs Taz? Look I hate Vince too, but so far he's doing a good job.

Sabu is going to job to Rey by one of the worst finishers in pro wrestling history, the 419 or whatever you call it.
You want to see Jerry Lawler wrestle????? It was an insult back when Taz had to job to Lawler, and its' an insult that he'll have to sell to that piece of shit.
The only thing good so far is seeing Funk and Dreamer reunited, which is all Heyman.

I forgot I was talking to someone who refers to Heyman as God. Which is clearly false as everyone knows that Flair is God.

Here's an idea, MWJS: If you don't like how it's coming together...
