Dave Meltzer reports that Lex Luger is in rough shape in San Francisco.

There are reports that he suffered a stroke in his hotel room and has no feeling from the waist down.

T's gonna shed a few tears over this one.

Update, but not really anything major.

We apologize for not getting this up earlier, but The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Lawrence Pfohl (aka Lex Luger) is currently at the emergency care unit at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto, CA after what has been described as a "major scare" in his hotel room in San Francisco.

Although nothing has been confirmed by the hopsital, it is believed Luger, who is 49, suffered either a heart attack or stroke. He is currently listed as being in stable condition at the moment. We will continue to follow this situation as it develops.

At last word, former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger is still hospitalized in Califiornia, but listed in stable condition. It appears he suffered an infection that caused a nerve impingement with his central nervous system, which led to temporary paralysis. He did not have a heart attack or stroke. Luger is currently undergoing intravenous antibiotic treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
