Well, Angle is going to be in the new ECW brand, in addition to RVD. Yippee skippy. Who else do you think will be involved, or who do you hope will be involved?
My pick is CM Punk. He's probably the best all-around wrestler WWE has under contract. He's had all kinds of classic feuds and matches, and if WWE/ECW gives him the ball and lets him run with it, he could be a major breakout star for WWE. He can do awesome violent, bloody, brutal matches as evidenced by his feuds with Raven and, later, The Prophecy. He can do great wrestling matches as evidenced by his matches with Samoa Joe. He can even do great comedy stuff. He's a great face and a great heel. Under today's WWE standards, he's a longshot to make it. Under the ECW brand (assuming it's done correctly) he could really flourish. Another candidate for pretty much all the same reasons is his former SCS tag team partner Ace Steel. Thoughts?

I'm not too excited about the whole ECW thing, and I don't know why Angle is on there.

To true, wasn't angle the one who lead the charge against ECW on the last ONS.
I thought it was going to be Matt hardy from SD

Yeah. He had nothing going for him.
Oh well. Smackdown! just lost another wrestler.

Technically Angle appeared on ECW TV before he appeared on WWE TV.

I'd forgotten CM Punk was with WWE, He would be tailor-made for a spot in ECW which means we'll probbly see Umaga there instead. Can someone like Angle wrestle in WWE and ECW or will it be a third brand? WWE is a bit too short on healthy talent to spread it around even more thinly aren't they?

I wouldnt have thought that WWE would want Hardy back, and he would want to return even less. He just dodnt have the fire in him lol. thats why he kept turning up late and what have you, he even did that in TNA. He doesnt have the desire for wrestling anymore, he wants to concentrate on his music.
BTW, have any of you heard Jeff Hardy singing? Oh my God it nearly burned my ears. I'll put a link up or somethin if you want

as of right now, the WWE has some moves banned like the shooting star press, the 450 splash, and the spike pile driver... do you guys think that the moves will be allowed back because of the new ECW?

actually, those moves arent "banned" they can only be used when vince gives permission...like the Edge/Foley match when Foley spike piledrived Edge...

I hope they put Cade & Murdoch in the new ECW, along with Matt Hardy, but Smackdown will eventually become ECW anyway.

I only care about the cradle piledriver, but I doubt they'll allow it.

Do you think he'll be mock-crucified in a future angle?

Yeah, they should try it on austin first to see if it works!

Its sort of a paradox...Paul heyman said when introducing ECW's return, that we will not only see "Piledrivers" but also hardcore, etc... but becasue ECW is produced by WWE, and WWE only uses piledrivers on special storylines where vince gives permission, i dont think they would do piledrivers at all, so i have no idea why Heyman mentioned piledrivers...

WWE has banned piledrivers, 450 splashes, Shooting Star Presses...It's only a matter of time before headlocks are disallowed.

i dont get it, they ban Shooting Star Presses becasue when doing wrong u could land on your head like Brock Lesnar did, but Moonsaults are allowed, and you could also land on your head performing one.

A backflip with the ropes to help you is much easier than a backflip when the ropes are against you.

ah right, any idea if Kevin Nash's "Jack knife - powerbomb" was ever banned, i heard stories that it was banned late in his career?

It was banned as a gimmick in WCW, where he would have to pay 10 000 everytime he used it. It was kind of funny when he would powerbomb Lodi like 10 times.

I think the 450 thing was banned after the Juvi/London accident.
