Samoa Joe finishing up with Ring of Honor

In the latest ROH Video Wire, Samoa Joe announced that he will be finishing up with Ring of Honor in March. The general feeling is that he's leaving to focus more on his TNA career.

Samoa Joe's farwell tour looks like this:

February 16th - New York, NY
Samoa Joe vs Pro Wrestling NOAH's Takeshi Morishima

February 17th - Philadelphia, PA
Samoa Joe vs Davey Richards

February 23rd - Dayton, OH
Samoa Joe vs Jimmy Rave

February 24th - Chicago, IL
Samoa Joe & Homicide vs Nigel McGuinness & Takeshi Morishima

March 3rd - Liverpool, UK
Samoa Joe vs Nigel McGuinness

March 4th - Liverpool, UK
Samoa Joe's final match (opponent TBD)

I'll actually be in the UK during the March 3rd & 4th events, and have been debating which show to go to, but if the 4th will be Joe's last match, i'll be there for that one.

The matches will be good, at least. Sucks that the only Joe to be seen will be in TNA. There isn't as much to work with there as there is in ROH, and shitty that there won't be a Joe/Tenryu like was hoped for when ROH toured Japan.

Liverpool wasn't half bad, to be honest. That Beatles experience was total shit though.

The RoH show was awesome.
Colt Cabana vs Delirious was an excellent comedy match
Allison Danger & Sara Del Ray vs 2 Brittish chicks wasn't too bad
BJ Whitmer vs Jimmy Jacobs (falls count anywhere) was pretty brutal, and had one sick spot where Jimmy hit BJ with a spike, then let BJ bleed on him. Gross.
Matt Sydal vs Pac was decent. Nothing too spectacular going on.
Jay Briscoe vs Mark Briscoe was the match of the night. Incredible match.
Shingo & Naruki Doi vs Roderick Strong & Davey Richards was pretty good, but picked up a lot towards the end.
Nigel McGuinness vs Jimmy Rave (fight without honor) was also really brutal. Nigel gave Rave a Tower of London onto a guard rail that was wedged between the ring and the other guardrail.
Samoa Joe vs Homicide was alright. I don't think Joe was all there. Homicide hit a Tope Con Hilo onto Joe, and ended up landing on the guy two seats next to me.

The two Brit chicks were "The Jezebel" Eden Black & Jetta, I hope it wasn't too bad, they're two of the best young female wrestling talent the UK has to offer at the moment.

I think I may have seen this Jezebel before. She was on IWW on TWC. Utterly pathetic. I think her finisher is something along the lines of a crucifix pin but she can't come anywhere near hitting it properly.
