They revealed that May 19th is when Kane's family died, so I don't know if they're going to put the mask back on him. Especially since his face is a major part of the film that WWE is promoting to an insane level.

I don't know. It just feels weird if they would tell Kane to put on the mask again, Knowing well enough that his mask is awkward. It was pratically half of his hair when he took it off. Now that he is bald, it just wouldn't look right. That's just me though.

I agree, Kane would look odd without long hair. Unless they do some storyline where he dissapears for months on end and then returns, with his hair longer. But i reckon it will take him a while to get his hair/facial hair to a decent enough length.

Facial wouldn't realy be a problem......but still they really gotta stop with the talking mask thing, cause im getting a wrong impression. Yes, that is what is apparently happening. That angle was hilarious. Remember when they used to have "Undertaker sightings" where people claimed they saw him at the Taj Mahal and the Japanese Parliament? And had those wonderful doctored photos to support their claims? Good times.

Those "undertaker sighting" vignettes were the fucking bomb. I think the summerslam where it's undertaker v undertaker actually shows them ALL prior to his match versus.. himself.


On a side note, I think it would be fantastic if they had someone shadow wrestle themselves. Kinda like when Al Snow went balistic and moonsaulted himself through the table. Maybe Kane v himself in an.. INFERNO MATCH!!!

Well, we have to remember how each has been handled. With Taker v. Taker, we were getting reports of 'sightings', with the efforts led by the likes of Todd Pettingil. 'Nuff said. All that buildup...and then the match--the worst match Taker has ever worked. And that says a lot.

The double Kane thing isn't so bad, in comparison. Yes, I agree, they should just stop already with the supernatural shit (which they never will, as long as Hollywood writers write for Stamford), but it's kind of a cool idea to see present Kane v. the original. My money says that it's all a "mindfuck" or "illusion" storyline (...an illusion which...millions of fans...see...).

And yes, that wig is awful, but I think I understand why; the guy they chose to impersonate Kane is only 6'9", from what I heard. So they gotta poof the hair up a few.

I dunno whether this has already been posted, but i read this extract stating that Kane is contemplating retirement:

Kane, 39, has expressed to WWE management that he plans on retiring soon, perhaps as early as January 2007. Kane told management that he has accomplished all he can in his career. Should Kane retire, it won't affect his See No Evil film deal as he signed a contract for a sequel to the movie.

One source within WWE said, "Kane is the most respected guy in the Raw locker room. He carries himself very professionally and it would be ashame to end his career without a decent title run." Kane has stated several times that his 24 hour title reign in 1998 does not bother him, however, many within WWE (including Vince McMahon) feels as though that Kane has been bothered that he has not gotten another title reign in his career. Even though he's technically on RAW, there was some thought to giving him a title win at Judgment Day or No Way Out, but those plans were nixed. Another source said that when Kane was asked about a possible future title reign he said, "It's time for the younger guys to shine."

Before his departure, Kane would like to be involved with Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton and John Cena. He would also like to reunite with The Undertaker as a tag team. Additionally, The Undertaker has expressed to management that Kane could possibly be the one to end his undefeated Wrestlemania streak. However, Kane turned down the idea, seeing as it would take credibility away from Taker's legacy.

The only thing run Kane ever had that interested me was at the very beginning, when he came out and ran roughshod over everyone. Due to Taker's "unwillingness" to fight Kane, I was bored at the very instant Kane bonded with Taker just before turning on him at the casket match. After that "bonding" I completely lost interest and never was interested in him again.
